This year 2021 has tested the limits of my mind and I am sure it has been an enlightening year for many of you whether it is personally or in your business.

Our mind is a powerful tool. When we think positive, speak positive, our minds tend to think of strategies to help us to achieve these positive things.
Take the Limits Off
This is the last month of the year, 2021 and just before the year is through, I was able to get another thing off of my bucket list. My personal website was built and launched. It is still a work in progress, but it is a start.
This year 2021 has tested the limits of my mind and I am sure it has been an enlightening year for many of you whether it is personally or in your business. It has been the year of the vaccine distribution for the dreaded Covid -19 virus and now as the year winds down, the world is forced with another threat of Omicron – the new variant of the virus. During the year, we have had to adjust our lives and in some cases transition from work at home for over a year to back at work full time in some cases. For me, in spite of these challenges, I had some fantastic plans at the start of 2021. I wanted to get married, I wanted to grow my businesses, to build my career, to continue my studies and basically to end 2021 well. Even though I had hope, there were still some questions in my mind as to how these plans would have been accomplished. There were times when I started asking myself if I thought I was superwoman or superhuman, but determination and faith are powerful tools necessary for overcoming fear and doubts.
In January, I crafted a plan for the year. I think I was at a point where so many plans were all in my head and in a book somewhere and I was feeling flustered to the point of complete doubt. There was a divine intervention very early in January, where a friend of mine shared her vision board with me and I was inspired. I quickly decided that if I were to take the limits off of my mind and life as a whole, I would need to see my goals at the end. It being in my head or in the pages of a book was not showing me the end picture. I decided to prepare my own vision board and jar of blessings. The vision board was a graphic of all of the plans and things that I saw for myself, my family and business in the year 2021. It was pictures of every goal and it showed the end result exactly like I wanted it to be. The jar of blessings was me writing each day at least one good thing that occurred that was leading me in the direction of the vision. Today my jar is full and the vision board has several ticks indicating completion.
The importance of daily affirmation could not be understated. Daily affirmations were me writing what I wanted to achieve and speaking it every day. These were my daily “I am”. Our mind is a powerful tool. When we think positive, speak positive, our minds tend to think of strategies to help us to achieve these positive things. There were affirmations such as “I am strong”, “I am wealthy”, “I am spiritually sound”, “I am a successful entrepreneur”, “I am the best at my job” etc. As I said these things daily, my mind sort of believed it, and I started to feel energetic and determined: even on days when there were reasons to be sad. Positivity kept me going.
I acted when opportunities were presented for me to do exactly what I have been planning for: exactly what I affirmed. I jumped at opportunities with both feet in. I do not believe that there is anything such as the perfect time. I believe the time is now if the opportunity is now. I believe in taking opportunities when they present themselves. If you envision it, you see it, go for it. The worst thing that can happen is you feeling bad over a missed opportunity. You just never know how it will go. Go for it! This requires boldness sometimes; it requires assertiveness sometimes and it requires decision every time. Needless to say, this is tied to my religious belief system of seeking the right opportunities being presented by the creator and acting on them.
Focus was my watch word. There was absolutely nothing that could have changed my mind from accomplishing certain objectives. To remove the limits from your mind, you have to be laser focused on the desired outcome.
In summary this week’s blog seeks to encourage you to take the limit of your mind. The only limits that exist are in your mind.
Note these points:
See your vision at the end and start from there.
Remember to give thanks for the progress you are making daily – your jar of blessings
Speak what you want in the atmosphere every day until your mind believes it – daily affirmation
There is no perfect opportunity, there is the opportunity that is here and now.
Remain laser focus on your goals
See you in the next one! Remember to leave your comments, like and share.
